Human Instrument (Ningengakki) by Takara

Turn you body into an instrument with Ningen gakki – “Human Musical Instrument” – by Japanese toy maker Takara Tomy Arts. This unique new toy relies on the human body’s natural conductivity to close an electronic loop used to trigger sounds. See the video below if that makes no sense at all.

Different modes allowing experimenting with maintaining melodies or turning your partner into a human drum machine, complete with snares, cymbals and more. In song mode you exercise creative expression by controlling the tempo and duration of the notes.

Most impressive is how many nice look girls you can touch when you bring this thing around town. We’ll post our own video too, if our product reviewer ever returns to the office from Shibuya.
