The Sanyo Eneloop Lamp (12,000 yen) works in three ways. It is an adjustable light source when standing on a dresser or table, but can be utilised as a flash light when tilted to a 90º angle, a very practical feature in Japan where earthquakes can cause power cuts. The lighting strength can be adjusted via a fader from very strong to soft night light.
