Traditional Japanese Restaurant Lanterns
Visit any traditional area in a Japanese city and it won’t be long until you come across one of these traditional lantern-signs, hung outside of restaurants to advertise their speciality to passers-by.
The three red ones in the picture to the left read ‘Ramen’, ‘Takoyaki’, ‘Okonomiyaki’.
Also available (pictured below): ‘Shaved Ice’, ‘Draft Beer’.
Please note that these are paper lanterns only – you will need to provide your own light fitting and hang it inside.
